The Indo-American Society (IAS), is one of the premier Institutions in the country, promoting Indo-US Educational, Cultural and Economic Cooperation. It is currently celebrating its Golden Jubilee Year. We are 1,300 members and its headquarters is located in Mumbai. IAS is a well known organization conducting several types of training programs aimed at enhancing soft skills for students, executives and corporate. Some of our faculty members are drawn from outstanding professionals in the Indian industry. Many of them have being with IAS for more than three decades, which is a testimony to the success of courses conducted by IAS. The Executive Council of IAS includes dedicated & qualified professional from different walks of life.

We are working actively for cultural harmony between India and US and regularly invite American artistes to perform in IAS.

Further, IAS conducts several seminars, symposiums and programs that contribute to expanding Indo-US relations.  We work very closely with the U.S. Consul General and the Director of the U.S. Information Service.  We also provide assistance to students planning higher education in the U.S.   IAS over a period of time has emerged as a Think tank to promote Indo-US strategic relationship. Several leading scholars & strategic thinkers from the U.S visit IAS to share their thoughts with the Indian Diaspora.  Some of the leading patrons in India of IAS  include Mr. Keshub Mahindra  (Chairman Board of Patrons),  Mr. Adi Godrej,     Mr. Narayana Murthy,  Mrs. Rajashree Birla,  Mr. Deepak Parekh,  Mr. Paul Folmsbee, U.S. Consul General.

The message of IAS addressed to the American audience is “Let us work together - to create a better tomorrow”.
