Our Photography course puts you in the picture, helping you understand and master your camera, its accessories and techniques in a systematic and scientific way, teaching you the basic principles behind snappier snaps and more creative photos.

Course Contents:
  1. Cameras: Different format cameras Box cameras. Directviewing cameras Ordinary and Rangefinder, SLR (Single Lens Reflex) cameras, Automatic cameras Compact and Superior SLRs Details about your own camera.
  2. Camera Handling: Loading and Unloading of film, Operation of the camera, Handling and Holding of the camera and Digital Cameras.
  3. Lenses: Normal lenses, Wideangle lenses, Tele lenses, Zoom and Macro lenses, Mirror lense, Tele converters, Closeup lenses.
  4. Films: Black and White Films, Colour Negative Films,Colour Transparency or Slide Films, Speed of Films ASA/DIN or ISO values
  5. Light/Lighting: Natural, daylight, Artificial Lights Tungsten/Halogen, Flash Manual/SemiAutomatic/Automatic Dual Flash, Multiple Flash.
  6. Exposure: What is a Shutter? What is an Aperture? How they affect exposure?
  7. Filters: For Black and White photographs, for colour photographs, their effects
  8. Composition: Basic rules of composition, cropping angle of view
  9. Subjects: Architecture, Portraits, Travel, Function photography, Nature
  10. Colour: Theory and basics of colour photography
  11. Developing & Printing: Demonstration of processing of black and white film. Contact printing and enlarging.
